The core of the spine – WS2812B

For TV advertisement I have to build something which is able to simulate neurons in core of the spine.

There are two version:
– flexible (bottom of the picture)
– and big one (top of the picture)

Both of them have protective foil on it so looks a little jagged.

Flexible one was made from 2 WS2812B LED strips. Each pair of led have custom made, 3D printed light diffuser and outer shell is made from silicon hose.

The big one was made from 4 WS2812B LED strips. Outer shell was made from white PLEXI tube. LEDs are places by custom made, 3D printed supports.

There are two controllers based on Arduino. So you can control speed, color, size etc.
